Codebase stellaris team deathmatch - ZeWaka - 12-14-2017 Some people have expressed interest in this before and the new years are coming up so let's do it. The basis is simple, a max size stellaris game with no npcs (maybe fallen empires) and teams based on codebase. It'll be a marathon game all played at once some time around new years. Plan to stay at least 4 hours and the game will probably go longer. In order to try and figure out teams before the game: http://www.strawpoll.me/14622946 These will certainly be concentrated down to less with names based on the larger represented groups. In the case of dropouts people from the same codebase would be accepted as replacements. Preference is given to the original player. Game setup: Galaxy Size: Huge Galaxy Shape: ??? AI Empires: 0 Fallen Empires: ??? Primitive Civilizations: ??? Crisis Strength: 5x (It's a game full of players, what else) FTL Method: Hyperdrive (It's the only tactically balanced choice) Mods: Mostly vanilla with possibly minor content/QoL, up to debate. If we're all on the same team, then wouldn't DE, DS, and FP be a bit OP? All DLCs should be present. It's not OP if the other team has the same thing. RE: Codebase stellaris team deathmatch - awfulworldkid - 12-16-2017 The main issue with any swarm archetype is diplomacy. This game won't have much diplomacy, since it's only between opposing teams of players. Since the main balancing mechanism of those archetypes is that everyone is ganging up on them because they're Bad Dudes and bad at diplomacy, they'd be overpowered when that's not an issue.
