Way to use items on containers - Calebc789 - 07-30-2017 There's a bit of a problem with containers in that if you want to do something with them other than put stuff in and take stuff out, you're going to have to fill it with the brim to, say, scan it with a forensics scanner. This includes stuff like backpacks and boxes. For stuff like disposal and mail chutes, though, this is impossible. My proposal to fix this is to have you 'hit' the container object instead of put the held item in it if you have the Disarm intent on. Alternatively, if that doesn't work, we can have it be a hotkey (Not sure what the binding would be). What do you guys think? RE: Way to use items on containers - ZeWaka - 07-30-2017 i think harm intent would be better suited as that is already tied to unique interactions like harmbaton and surgery RE: Way to use items on containers - Frank_Stein - 07-30-2017 Idea: Grab intent will automatically pull out the last item added RE: Way to use items on containers - Superlagg - 07-31-2017 It's kinda tricky to put a label on a toolbox. Gotta be full for it to apply one and not just go in the box.
