Gasping happens at low overall health. If you have only 4 HP at most, you still gasp. It's not a percent of your health.

completely different bug but i've made like 4 bug report threads today: the clicking delay stuff got rid of the thing where you can attempt to peel a banana so quickly you ignore the stun from poking your eyes with it as a clown for long enough to unpeel it. annoying but probably a feature
