duplicating nuke disc - mozi - 04-28-2013

So if a person disappears completely (gibbed, banned, whatever), a late joiner can take their job.

If the Captain vanishes, then the late joining Captain will start with a duplicate disc in their pocket. If the disc wasn't on the original captain when they went away, that means there are now two discs on the station.

Re: duplicating nuke disc - BlackPhoenix - 04-28-2013

I see this as a feature. CentComm issues the disk to each captain, because if the last captain is MIA then so is the disk assumedly.

Re: duplicating nuke disc - TheRedScare - 04-28-2013

Isn't the disk meant to be from the syndicate's company?

world << "A nuclear explosive was being transported by Nanotrasen to a military base. The transport ship mysteriously lost contact with Space Traffic Control (STC). About that time a strange disk was discovered around [station_name()]. It was identified by Nanotrasen as a nuclear auth. disk and now Syndicate Operatives have arrived to retake the disk and detonate SS13! Also, most likely Syndicate star ships are in the vicinity so take care not to lose the disk!

this is a pretty goofy premise imo

Re: duplicating nuke disc - Dauntasa - 04-29-2013

it would make more sense if the syndicates stole the nuke

Re: duplicating nuke disc - TheRedScare - 04-29-2013

Lets replace the syndies with cats who must retrieve their leader. Jones. From the station.

Re: duplicating nuke disc - Cogwerks - 04-29-2013

let's spam up the bug report forum with more dumb posts like that

actually let's not

Sounds like nano was going to nuke ss13 anyway. Why must we be so hated..

Re: duplicating nuke disc - Dauntasa - 05-03-2013

Well it's kind of a shithole that sucks up 100,000 dollars in about an hour and never makes any money.

Also the crew never does any work and calls for emergency evacuation whenever they get bored.

Re: duplicating nuke disc - Klayboxx - 05-03-2013

Well it makes more sense now than it did previously where we already had a nuke on-station.
