Bodies should cool down (or heat up) to their surroundings. Too hot and it won't rot, too cold and it won't rot. BUUUUUT, If it's at EXTREME cold, you can *shatter* the body! Balance issues aside, I'd be more for carbonizing them. Or making them mummies, minus the slab.
