have the reward be a cosmetic thing that makes you look like a vr person replete with scream and fart sfx

But it'd also make having a cosmetic reward for the arcades be reasonable.
As-is beating the games is not hard to do at all, just a little long and drawn-out.

a reward to become a vr person should probably have something to do with an actual challenge within vr
maybe though
the arcade cabinet machine's reward could be to be able to turn your toy sword into one of those funky rainbow flashing toy swords. or otherwise select your preferred color
