I like to be able to see my normal looking character in VR and not some weird shadow person. It would also makes it less confusing on figuring out who is who. However the VR jumpsuits are pretty neat and should stay.

Yeah, in Tron they looked fairly normal, if greyish.
What if there were reward skins for doing VR challenges? Things like changing your sprite to other mobs like tomatoes and space bears?
Include the players name above their head for the real mmo experience

Maybe if you register a VR account in the current round some way, your VR sprite stays your normal human one.
