Floor tiles don't care about material - Cirrial - 03-28-2016 When holding a floor tile of any specific material type, clicking on any other floor tile will add one to the floor tile stack you're currently holding. For example, I only technically needed one steel-miraculum tile to coat the escape wing in colour-changing floors, because I could pry up the existing steel tile, click it with my steel-miraculum tile, and now have 2 steel-miraculum tiles. While this is harmless with the above mentioned alloy, I suspect allowing theoretically unlimited erebite-telecrystal-fibrillith floor tiles or whatever else is probably an oversight.
