Tap a glass filled with liquid with a fork, spoon, or knife to hear a ding sound. The sound changes depending on how full the glass is.

Clowns/Clumsy mutation people have a chance to fumble and just shatter the glass, which will hopefully be full of something nasty that will splash on them.
Also make the contents of the glass change the note/instrument because why not
