Strange rainbow graphics? - Stryxic - 01-13-2016
Heya folks, recently built my PC and encountered this issue with running SS13:

I'm using an AMD R9 390X graphics card, and running Windows 7, and I think I've updated all of my graphics drivers to the latest versions, and I'm at a bit of a loss as to where to go next.

We're still largely in the dark about it, what we know for sure is that you need BYOND 509 and hardware acceleration.
You may also want to try:
- Toggling BYOND hardware acceleration off and then back on.
- Updating your graphics card drivers.
- Updating to the latest DirectX 9 (if you're still using DX9)
- Updating to at least DirectX 10 (if updating to the latest DX9 didn't solve it)
If any of the above fixes it, please tell us so we can help other people with the same problem easier.

Updating to the latest DirectX 10 worked for me... this was after turning hardware acceleration on and off a few times and unistalling/reinstalling BYOND's latest version failed to work. (Running Windows 7, Intel HD Graphics 4600.)
