Rainbow lights persist on Linux - ulty - 01-12-2016 As the title says, I'm using Linux with wine to launch beyond. Encountered the rainbow lights and updated beyond, but they are still here. I have tried: Removing the user account that has the Beyond install with all its settings and creating a new user for all wine related things. Updating to wine-1.9.1 (Staging) kubuntu14.04. Reinstalling Beyond. (used this wine HQ script to launch and install beyond https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=29560) Clearing the games cache. Making sure hardware acceleration is enabled. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Re: Rainbow lights persist on Linux - Marquesas - 01-17-2016 Wine is really unreliable and we cannot help you out with it. You could try using a VM, or even better, dual-booting instead. |
