Rainbow lights persist on Linux - ulty - 01-12-2016

As the title says, I'm using Linux with wine to launch beyond. Encountered the rainbow lights and updated beyond, but they are still here.
I have tried:
Removing the user account that has the Beyond install with all its settings and creating a new user for all wine related things.
Updating to wine-1.9.1 (Staging) kubuntu14.04.

Reinstalling Beyond. (used this wine HQ script to launch and install beyond https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=29560)

Clearing the games cache.
Making sure hardware acceleration is enabled.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wine is really unreliable and we cannot help you out with it. You could try using a VM, or even better, dual-booting instead.
