DNA and the detective - Sundance - 02-24-2013

Yes! Blood is now on security records, so now the detective can scan blood.
Thing is, there seems to be two strings of separate code.
DNA from the detectives scanner looks something like this: 646109703a4d9c54d47fbdc998407a49 yadda yadda..
The DNA in the records look something like: 000000000000005bc300024
As a result, scanning for blood you get apples when you are looking for oranges, it's painfully useless (emphasis on the word painfully, I really wanted this to be a feature)
The fix is simple (I think), get rid of the old code and replace it with the new one in the records.

The new one looks like something from Genetics, like someone's SE. Might be that?

oh the detective scanner was looking for that retarded unique enzymes thing instead of the unique identity.
dna code sucks
