You know how you can interact with certain items on you through the HUD (Opening airtanks, activating flashlights/scanners, flipping down welding masks)

I like that. It makes it much easier to manage your inventory without having to mess with your hands so much. I think we could use more of that kinda stuff for more items.

One thing that I'd really like to see is one for opening the PDA window.


More so, I can also see expanding the system to include not just items on you, but more things to do with an item in hand, similar to using the fire extinguisher all around you. For instance, surgery could be a combination of picking an area on the body, then additional actions using the HUD at the top to target different spots in the same area.

Perhaps expand this functionality to the chameleon projector and cloaker too, those seem like they'd benefit from having buttons.
