You cant throw electropakcs - Firebarrage - 11-11-2015
Electropacks. You can't throw them.
I'm guessing this is just a specific instance of a larger bug, so I'll be poking around for other unthrowable objects.

Other similar objects tested:
Other back items: Backpack, Jetpack: Throwable
Other objects you can siginal (bombs): Throwable
Perhaps this has to do with the fact that you cannot remove an electropack that is on your own back?
The function may be a bit overzealous and decide you cant throw it as well.

It is. The variable controls being unable to remove an item from yourself also stops you from throwing it, or as least that's how i remember it being explained. You can still click the drop button to get rid of 'em though.
