Suiciding with a firelock doesn't remove any health, making you still alive.

Suiciding with a firelock smashes your head into a fine paste, rendering this point irrelevant because your brain doesn't exist anymore. You've been decapitated. The level of damage to your body does not change the fact that you are deceased. I know, I tested it just to make this post with confidence.

So that's why prodocs sometimes say that dead people are still alive.
