I'm supposed to get between 12 and 18 inches of rain.

It's that massive line of moisture being fueled by hurricane Joaquin that's getting ready to slam into the south east

It's a weird feeling to look up at a cloudy night sky and see lots and lots of red. Big storms coming here too, not sure how many inches we're due.

Up here by the appalachian area, we could really use this rain to keep the soon-to-be hibernating plants alive for a spell, at least till snowfall.

I wish. Cold and damp with some mild wind. I'm with A4brogan in the 'needs rain' department. I wish it would have rained earlier. I wanted to head up to the blue ridge but lack of rain generally puts a damper on things. Furthermore, with the cold and damp weather, barbecue in lexington doesn't sound so great.

This simply reaffirms my stance that nature is an asshole.

I blame the weather channel.

It's pretty not alright here in Virginia. They actually closed my school early one day, and didn't even open wednesday or today.
