Sound Effects & Music - Weavel - 04-27-2015 I've just finished the tail end of a Music Production for Video Games course in college, I'd love to give something back to Goon with these new ~skills~. I can do full music, sound design, vocals w/e Don't think there's a better forum to put this, but any sounds people want to suggest I redo/create, let me know! Also, new items get implemented all the time that would suit short fx clips. My blinds closing or Conor's forklift reversing for example. Maybe some additional department ambiance? Like how the chapel and engine have. Might be neat to have a short clip playing in medbay, research, etc. I dunno, I'm just spitballing! Elevator music, smooth jazz loop, faint hissing static, distressing creaking, whatever fits the mood from a preselected list. I've always thought that some kind of radio DJ would make a great gimmick job, with different generic music like that as options to play station wide (With player options to mute them of course) I'd also love for a noirish sad jazz song for the detective's office and jazz lounge, some reggae for botany, and clown theme. Really, I've been wanting to do something like this for a while, but was never quite sure how to propose it until now, hence the piggybacking. I dont know if it would be too difficult but maybe the music machine could actively change the ambiance, so you could switch between jazz to a more upbeat swing, etc. No idea how ambiance works. It took me a while to realize that I had basically copied the exact same chord progression as this song without even knowing what it was. Fucking. |
