Doodle or Die - a game to die for - tjtr - 04-17-2015 Hi! I've found this nifty little game which, summed up, is a game of Telephone, except with drawings! The idea is simple: A player starts a "chain" of drawings by either being prompted to draw whatever they want or to write a description of a drawing they'd want to see. The next player can only see the doodle/description of the first player, and has to either describe it/draw it themselves. Another player sees the work of the second player etc. etc. After a certain amount of rounds have been played/time has passed, the chain will "finish" and everyone participating can see what the other players doodled/described, which can cause lots of hilarity. It's a fun little game whether you're the next Rembrandt or you're struggling with stick figures. Link to the game (you have to create an account, but this literally takes a minute at most): http://doodleordie.com/ Some examples of chains I particularly liked: http://doodleordie.com/c/1hvhjTuttE#14 (A magnificient drawing of a teacup ends up with British monkeys sipping tea and finally stealing eggs from birds) http://doodleordie.com/c/Ei-OSbePp1#4 (A drawing of a dolphin jumping out of the water followed by dolphins killing members of Viet Kong. Also, lots of rainbow explosions.) And then there is this gem (from a description simply stating "crocodile tears") Re: Doodle or Die - a game to die for - Splatpope - 04-17-2015 so old, but so good |
