Seeing as the Port-A-Gene was pretty much only ever used for bad shit anyways, giving it to antagonists seems logical. It removes the problem of needing to share workspace within medbay, and combining it with a cloaking field generator would be really nasty. It would need to be fairly expensive, something around 7 or maybe 8 telecrystals. |
