Put a flashlight in your pocket and see how well you can see IRL.
As for the belt I agree. PDA's are kinda strap on I guess so It would make sense you could slap it on your belt to use.

as sec i always keep pda in my pocket, not having it give me light is terrible

Belt/pocket PDA lights also seem to not work, though I could have knackered my personal lighting code after turning it on post-fiddling with flashlights. Also why is this in Ideas and not Bug Reports?

Someone in deadchat today said hardhat lights weren't working too. But they worked jut fine for me.

Things should be working again. Lemme know if any lightsources are still broken.
