Nuke disk duplicates itself on disk respawn. - FloozyBarge - 03-14-2015 How to reproduce: 1: Get disk. 2: Gib while in possession of disk. 3: Two disks are now spawned. Re: Nuke disk duplicates itself on disk respawn. - Winklabom - 03-15-2015 More than likely a feature to punish you for getting gibbed with the disk in your possession. Re: Nuke disk duplicates itself on disk respawn. - Roomba - 03-15-2015 I remember it coming up a few times before, it's a known issue. Dunno if it's classified as a feature or just too much of a bugger to solve. Wonder if it's related to the fedora duplicating itself. Re: Nuke disk duplicates itself on disk respawn. - UrsulaMejor - 03-15-2015 not a feature. should probably be fixed Re: Nuke disk duplicates itself on disk respawn. - Spy_Guy - 03-15-2015 In most cases disk duplication is intended. The issue in the past was captains leaving the z-level and noticing the disk mysteriously vanishing from their pockets, followed by promptly screaming "NUUUUKE" and scrambling to reaquire the disk and bunker up. This is presumably related to that. Re: Nuke disk duplicates itself on disk respawn. - Xeram - 03-15-2015 Sounds a lot like http://forum.ss13.co/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=4429 This looks like a consistent bug between items that are supposed to survive gibbing. Re: Nuke disk duplicates itself on disk respawn. - Ed Venture - 03-15-2015 Also when this happens the pinpointer becomes useless. It will just take you to the middle of space and say the disk is there when there is nothing. This has been a bug since forever surprise its still around to be honest. Re: Nuke disk duplicates itself on disk respawn. - Huff H Law - 09-23-2015 Bug is irrelevant so I guess it's resolved. |
