Cryo grenades can freeze space tiles - BaneOfGiygas - 03-02-2015
I don't have a screenshot on hand and I can't recall the exact date that I witnessed this, but someone threw a cryo grenade near the airlock to the escape shuttle, and the nearby space tiles in the blast radius were covered in ice. Not sure if this is intentional, probably isn't.

It creates a thin cloud of icy mist, which just so happens to form into a solid and very slippery floor.

Don't get me wrong, I'm willing to accept this as a nice quirk of cryo grenades! I just wasn't sureif it was intentional.

I think it's more to do with the way grenades tend to spawn things. Like how banana and incendiary grenades will spawn through walls.
