It turns out that suiciding with a chainsaw while it attached to your arm keeps it as an arm item, meaning that whoever picks it up can not drop it as it becomes thier arm.
I demand this never be changed, as it is awesome.
seriously, I took down a traitor, he gibbed himself, I picked up the chainsaw and I immediately went mad with the power as the chosen of the chainsaw, it was 10/10 fun.

As the traitor who accidentally chainsaw gibbed himself, I wholeheartedly agree. This is a bug that should not be fixed! It is hilarious to spawn a chainsaw that cannot be removed from someone's hand!
