I don't see why this shouldn't be a thing, just let it bypass the ID card system like it can with the bank records and such.

I don't see why it shouldn't. It does have access to the Comms computers and everything else with Head-required access. It could be a good way for AIs to do gimmicks and generally fool around. They don't have many of those.

Sure.
Also for reference, earlier in a round today I was going to make an announcement about free pizza on the bridge, but the minute I put in my card the ai imputed the announcement to be "destroy the captain"
So they can control what other people are saying, if they are quick on their feet.
