Like wizards, clowns are special people and deserve a special unique name when you happen to be one. Readying up with your clownname and being a geneticist isn't as funny, nor is ending up as a clown named Joe McPubs.

Perhaps make the clown ID like an agent ID? You click it and choose the name that goes on it, just don't typo.
