Artefact Sandwich Bug - Archenteron - 09-11-2014
I had a collection of handheld artefact guns. Someone wanted to take them from me, so to spite him, I baked them into a sandwich. I did not get an artefact sandwich, I got a wish sandwich. This was depressing.

Sandwiches can only take food items, it's pies that can have any item that fits in the oven baked in. Although it would be nice if sandwiches also worked the same way. Fried artifact gun cakes would have worked, though.
Also a wish sandwich is what you get when you make a sandwich with two slices of bread and no acceptable other ingredients.

I remember before that you could put any item into the oven and it would bake them into a sandwich. Maybe I'm just mistaken.

You're most likely mistaken. Try frying stuff before putting them into sandwiches/cakes.
