Mining/engineering space helmet and plasma cutters - Iatots - 09-02-2014

  • The plasma cutter thing is simple, when shooting a plasma cutter sideways with a pod the sprite faces the wrong (opposite) direction.


  • The helmet of the miners engineering suit has been bugged for a long time, but since I found no thread.
    Once you put on the helmet you retain the little blue button to turn on/off the light even if you take the helmet off. That is, you can throw the helmet across the room and if you are lucky you will be able to turn it on/off from a distance.
    If unlucky, the helmet will emit no more light, ever.

    Using a glowstick also sometimes breaks the helmet's light, and once the green filter actually transferred to my helmet, in more detail:
    Both instances were me going at the broken reactor shuttle and using the glowstick found there. Once it broke my light, once the green glow transferred to my helmet, the latter I noticed upon returning to cargo with a pod. in the hangar the green was quite strong near where I exited the pod, but in the office proper the glow was only on the very edges, from about 4 tiles away from me and on. returning to the hangar the same spots as before glew a deep green, as if the glowstick was actually there.
