All the Trouble in Terrorist Town items that aren't dependent on 3D would work well here. The radio would be fun with the volumetric sounds the server now has.

Hearts are a thing.

Now we need some kind of gun that when shot at someone in the chest their heart either flies out or gets destroyed, and a Bon Jovi clip plays.

When you die spiders burst forth from your every orifice and gib your corpse

alternatively, hostile owls
An ice spider microbomb device would be a pretty interesting twist.

Dumb surplus crate item idea time!

I posted this in the SA thread a while back, but I figure I should put it here too.

The Priceless Ming Vase

Shows up in surplus crates. May or may not belong to your boss.

I was thinking it could be used in two ways, depending on your intent.
help/disarm/grab intent: Using it on another person shoves the vase over their head (assuming they don't have a hat). Having a vase on your head makes you unable to see and you stumble about randomly. Hitting the victim in the head with a heavy object or having them walk into walls enough should break the vase.

harm intent: Smash the vase over some poor sap's head, breaking it instantly but knocking them down and doing a decent amount of brute damage.

Can we sell it to carl for a gorillion credits?

Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - Grizzwold - 08-31-2014

I thought about something like that, but was worried that if you could just sell it for an insane amount of money then anyone who gets it would decide to go make an artillery pod and blow the hell out of the station instead of using it for anything else.

Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - Frank_Stein - 08-31-2014

Man, it'd be great if you could sell it for a ton of cash, but it was super fragile and just bumping into anyone along the way would break it.

God, that would be hell.

Necromancy for Pubbies

Chaplain item, price negotiable. Comes in the form of an (EVIL) instructional manual.

Use this item to perform loud sacrificial rituals of varying length using hearts.

1 sacrifice: You have the power to turn corpses into skeleton mobs, but unlike the wizard spell this takes a few seconds to cast and requires that you stand next to the corpse
2-4 sacrifices: Skeleton power upgraded to be near-identical to the wizard version
10 sacrifices: Turn a corpse into a non-contagious zombie NPC

feel free to suggestion/criticize this idea

Christ those typos are awful, and I can't find any way to edit the post. Hopefully my point came through clearly enough.

The zombies are actually weaker than skeletons and die in one laser hit. Maybe the 10+ sacrifice reward is a necromantic player controlled thrall or something

While the idea of an necromancy kit SOUNDS cool.....It would be one of the weakest traitor items.non-contagious Zombies and skeletons are currently weak as hell.....They don't hurt you for all that much and you can easly kill them with a crowbar....Not only that but you still need to kill someone AND remove their heart without anyone seeing you (Chaplen is removing someones heart in surgery! he has the necro kit....KILL HIM).

It would be better if it gave you the tools to transform the chapel into a sort of ritual ground, it only required dead bodies to level up with the powers not needing corpses, and instead the moves work similar to "Summon Bats" where it summons three of whatever tier creature you're on, starting with skeletons and working up to... something better than zombies.
Costs 10 telecrystals.

Well I fucked that up beyond repair. Always use the "Preview" function.

Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - RAWK_LAWBSTAR - 08-31-2014

Since this is also idea town might as well toss my idea from the traitor chaplain thread here.

RAWK_LAWBSTAR Wrote:DIY Lichdom Kit
This kit contains everything you need to turn yourself into an undying* monstrosity and no one will be any the wiser**. All you have to do is take the Automatic Phylacterizer, scan the item you wish it to become, and then press it against your chest to rip your heart and soul out to complete the process. Be sure to hide your unassuming*** phyalctery somewhere safe! As a lich death will be more like a quick nap**** so when a staff assistant comes along and toolboxes you all you have to do is wait a moment for the dread necromantic energies to reinvigorate your body so you can peel your battered corpse off the ground and get your revenge! Loose an arm or a leg? Just slap that sucker back on and it'll be good as new*****! Just make sure you don't get thrown in the gibber******!

* If your phylactery is destroyed so are you.
** Medical crew may notice the lack of heart if you are scanned.
*** The phylacteries are known to produce strange noises, such as the sound of a beating heart, farting, or the screams of the damned.
**** Length of time spent unconscious after being killed before being revived grows longer with each revival. Death by fire and being drained by changelings have been known to exacerbate this problem.
***** Clinical trials have shown that once killed, the body will decay as normal despite the necromantic energies animating it. A diet of embalming fluid is recommended to maintain a life-like appearance.
****** While the enzymatic reclaimer, gibber, and crusher will not truly kill you so long as your phylactery is intact they will reduce you to a pile of animated undead gore rendering you largely harmless.

Syndicate Bible
This edition of the Bible is loaded with a pneumatically driven blade in its spine. The blade is made from materials infused with powerful anesthesia so the victim won't feel a thing when it pierces their flesh. The internal air tank has enough for two uses but may be refilled using canisters found around the station.
