Improvement to the sleepypen.

Let the pen accept pills as input for reagents. As it stands you have to pour chemicals into it using a beaker, which gets inconvenient if your cocktail isn't evenly divisible by ten (and the logistics of this is quite a hassle, since there are quite few ways of conveniently storing large quantities of chems in liquid form that aren't space-intensive).
Today I did a thing where I used a sleepypen to turn everyone I came across into me, and the reloading process involved having to take out a pill from the bottle, dissolve it in a beaker, then pour the mix into the pen. I genuinely feel that it'd be better to just cut out the middleman there.

Another thing is that I'm completely in favour of keeping the fixed injection amount to 50u, however. If it was user-changeable an individual could load the pen full of a chem that is lethal in 5u (that shall not be named), then be able to run into a room, poison everyone horribly and leave before the first person even notices anything is amiss.

Reinforced Handcuffs.

Unlike the sissy cuffs of security, these handcuffs require double the escape time. Should you be able to get your victim to stand still long enough to wear them, they won't be getting out for a while. be careful to ensure security doesn't find them and subsequently use them on you.

(Maybe they could impede movement as well)

3 telecrystals (since they're just a stronger pair of handcuffs, and could be used against you.)

Can we revisit the idea of Traitor Engineers being able to order a tank of Special Fuel? With the latest updates to the fire system, it seems like it could be hilariously effective to start a blue-spectrum hellburn in the combustion chamber and disable a large swath of the station.

What about a special kit traitor engineers can order that comes with five items inside a box:

-Three (3) red-colored emergency oxygentanks. Each of these contains 100 units of a gas that is moderately deadly when inhaled, but when combined with plasma and oxygen causes instant, intense fire that heats up 5 time as quick as normal.

-One (1) Reflective Fire Suit. Looks like an normal fire suit, except has shiny stripes all around it. Not only protects extraordinarily well against heat, (Allowing the traitor to roam more-or-less at will through the blazing-hot parts of the station) but also has a 50% chance of blocking lasers.

-One (1) Heavy-Duty Hardhat. Looks like a normal hardhat, except has a noticeably larger bulb on it. Requires power cells, but by clicking the "activate flashlight" button at the top of your screen while wearing it, it flashes everyone in a 1-square radius around you.

Maybe make it cost 8 or 9 telecrystals, so it gives you a few good options for various griffs, but won't be something everyone just always takes for free mega-flash and partial laser resistance. Also can combine very well for a magnificent takeover of the southern portion of the station.

emergency bunker kit
crystals: 10
comes with everything needed to quickly and thoroughly fortify any room:
a special RCD that makes reinforced walls, doors and tables but can't disassemble things
portable flashers
reverse emag that bolts doors shut
AI scrambler that prevents the AI from fucking with things in the room
telescience scrambler preventing telescience from getting in
mines
banana peel
thunderfuck 5000 anti-personnel cannon(a big cannon that kills the fuck out of anyone you shoot with it but can only be dragged around like a crate and needs to be bolted down to fire)
10 thunderfuck 5000 shells(bulky items)
russian revolver(for pulling a hitler when security gets past all this shit)

engage in thrilling last stands with security! build an arrivals tollbooth that people actually can't ignore! watch people realize that their round is over when they open a door right into the barrel of a giant cannon!

Too much, but a Thunderfuck 5000 and Landmines could easily be their own individual traitor gear. Landmines = 3tc/box/each? and TF5K = 9/10tc

instead of all the equipment let there be a lower price blueprint you can buy for the blueprint constructor things in the warehouse no one uses
comes with the supplies to build it, just need to find a spot for your last stand/stronghold/gang clubhouse and boom

This is awfully wonderful. So awfully wonderful for all the wrong reasons.

Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - Zadeon - 11-20-2013

This has probably had something suggested before similar to it, but anyways:
Sneaky Stan's Sneaky Gloves:
Crystals: 3-4
Look like normal finger-less black gloves, but allow the user to pick-pocket people's backpacks and pockets. The person being pick-pocketed does not get a notification, but anyone else witnessing the crime will see something like:

Sneaky Stan ruffles through Pubbie Joe's backpack/pockets!

*Also the sound of opening a backpack would be played to everyone, so that the victim isn't fully unaware.
For balancing it would take a bit to actually pull up the item menu and neither person CANNOT MOVE, even if they are still in range. It would also be resistible, so if you think somebody's doing it to you just click resist. Finally the traitor CANNOT remove them and CANNOT STRIP a person anymore.

Really. Just make it cost a single crystal then.

Sounds balanced and considerably less annoying. I support it.

Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - QP Evergrande - 11-23-2013

Another sleepypen suggestion.

In addition to being able to order or make poisons for it, how about being able to order pathogens? Like a bottle containing Berserker, GBS or Necrotic Degeneration. Something nasty that will spread on its own, but for balance leave out the incurable conditions. In general I think diseases should be a lot more common than they are. Having a greater variety of things to treat would make being a doctor more interesting.

You can order stuff like that. They come in the traitor poison bottles.

However, the really horrifying diseases won't spread anymore, because in the past, everyone would get infected and die from GBS when something like space-aids got spread.
This happened over the course of several rounds and got ran into the ground, so they're no longer contagious. Thanks, Klayboxx

The MEGALOSHES

It would be a janitor traitor item that acts like a superior pair of galoshes, they prevent slipping on space lube and maybe bananas. The point is for it to pair well with the traitor cleaner grenades for actually going into the foam and murdering people and also a noticeable color to attract more assistants.
