Add a colored overlay to Meson-vision - ClockworkCupcake - 05-31-2014
Would it be possible to add a tinted overlay to areas revealed by meson goggles but out of your line of sight? Right now all meson-vision is fullbright and it can be difficult to judge what is or isn't in your line of sight in lit areas.

I literally never wear mesons for exactly this reason.

Mesons used to show the every turf at the actual light level (and work as a decent way to see that somebody was behind a wall). Until some code update fucked it up.
Should just be fixed instead of patching it with some overlay.

They changed when new lighting went in, I think, but this is a different request focused more on showing whether or not you have line of sight on lit areas. It'd be nice to fix the lighting thing as well though.

Fullbright's nice though cause damaged areas have their lights blown out and are dark. Also before fullbright you could see people moving around out of sight if they had flashlights on.
