Make running on glass damage your footwear - Berrik - 05-02-2014
Pretty much as stated. Wading through a bunch of glass should have a chance to damage/shred your footwear. It'd mean broken glass is actually something more than a noisemaker.

What are space shoes made of, leather? No, man. What normal shoe gets shredded by glass?
They shred your feet if you're barefoot, that's good enough. If you want to be a glass monster steal people's shoes.

or just use crystal glass.

One of my all-time favorite moments was when I destroyed 5+ crystal glass sheets on a single tile, surrounded it with caution signs, and watched half a dozen people kill themselves instantly by stepping on it.

That should be 50+, not 5.
