Make shrimp and pufferfish more common - Whele - 12-10-2025
You can spend nearly thirty minutes as an angler fishing up maybe three or four shrimps. As a result I hardly ever see cooked shrimp or the very neat pufferfish being made by chefs, even if there IS an angler providing seafood to the kitchen. I propose that shrimp and pufferfish should be more common (perhaps while using specific bait?) so we can see chefs explore the full range of seafood options.

I'd wanted to have bait function as a catch rate modifier for specific fish, I just didn't get around to coding it. Would approve of this in a PR

Afaik Pufferfish already are tied to using meat as bait. I think they can only appear when using meat.

Sure but like I said, the pool is so diluted that hardly anyone goes through the trouble to gather the special culinary fish. Hence my suggestion.
