Shelterfrog Mutantrace Accent Reform - SnugglyCactus - 01-30-2025
Shelterfrogs are a gimmick mutantrace, but as their number one devotee I feel compelled to propose this suggestion.
Presently, when you become frogged, your vowels get replaced by "e", "o", "oo", "ee", "O", and "E". While this gimmick is fun, when you roll capital letters to replace your vowels, it's incredibly obtrusive (Seeing "OrO thOrrrrO Ony OngOnOOrrrrs?" over the radio is a spell that kills everyone instantly). For the sake of everyone's sanity, I suggest we tone it down a little via removing the capital letters from the pool of vowel replacements.
Secondly, their use of Australian slang could be replaced with something better. Analyzing the sacred tomes (Fun Facts About Shelterfrogs), there is no mention of anything to suggest they are Australian, or would use words such as "innit" or "mate" to punctuate sentences. However, we can make this better by replacing them with frog onomatopoeia. Occasionally, sentences would instead be punctuated by "ribbit", "quak-quak", or any manner of croaking noises transcribed for our viewing pleasure.
This would make me pretty happy. I like shelterfrogs.

The vowel thing actually appears to be a bug, the accent was meant to replace lowercase with lowercase and uppercase with uppercase but the original author used the case-insensitive replace functions so everything just gets replaced with uppercase.
