matsci transparency gets an inspect tell - RSOD - 12-27-2024 i'm DONE!! with having to assume and guess transparency values!! inspecting a material that works as crystal will also give you different inspect messages based on its transparency. (i.e. "you can see clearly through it.", "it's hard to see through it.", "it's almost invisible.") But yeah, its before my time but it's clear (heh) transparency was a discernable feature in older Matsci and I don't quite follow the reasoning for why it isn't now, unless it was because of the "quality" system that's now all but entirely depreciated too.
