High Voltage Mentor Application - 8c2v - 12-27-2024

Reason for application + game experience (300 word minimum):
I've been on and off about applying for anything, especially mentor, But helping people Is always something I've found fun, especially as an antagonist, walking through the station of bodies helping a newbee. I want to (and am) applying because I want to help people, not just newbees, I think as a mentor I can grow, learn more, and help more. Game experience wise I have just about 2k hours.
Engineering:
Most of my experience Is in engineering, be it packets, mechcomp, or just plain ol' engine/toxins.
Probably the department I've helped the most people in because of the skill ceiling and amount of content and the amount of nerdery required to learn it.
I'm not sure if it counts but for cargo, there's not much to say, I've had fun teaching people it but not a lot of content to teach.
Mining is pretty nice, I've enjoyed a round teaching about custom tools, the mining telescope, and matsci.
Security:
Probably my second most played department? I don't have a lot to say here other then I try to keep security defended, try to let antagonists have fun (Unless its Xx_Rampager_xX rampaging 9 minutes in again, krill), And trying to make things fair. I've only taught a few people security before they got brutally murdered.
I don't have any security experience on roleplay, mainly classic, so all my experience really boils down to making sure everyone is prepared and making electric chairs that never get used :possum:
Medical:
I don't have a lot of experience in medical other then having a bunch of healing chemicals and spam cloning people during a rampage, outside of that I like medical a lot since like engineering, there's a lot of mechanics you can teach people.
My experience boils down to making borg armies as roboticist, making cow/lizard/human/monkey genetic abominations, or just.. healing mixes and putting nice chemicals into the cloner occasionally.
I love the geneticist life.
Science:
I can remember all the times i've taught someone something science related.. All telesci or toxins.
I guess science is packet related because of guardbuddies.. but my experience with science is:
Making a LOT of TTVS, Attempted (and failed) canbombs, Exploring azones with friends and newbees, and putting capsaicin grenades on guardbuddies to create infinite hell.
Really fun department but I have little chemical experience and wish to expand my knowledge further.
Other Stuff:
I have ZERO ranching rounds, I don't really get it and never will, but I have probably 100-200 botantist rounds, Taught quite a few people, but mainly just love to sit back, grow some weed with 1000 potency while watching a movie, and kick back.
I don't know what.. other roles there are other then like, heads or some odd stuff.. but i'll tell you about how i play antagonist:
I usually play trying to keep in mind that roleplay (Especially on classic) makes it a LOT more fun, wild goose chases and scooby doo stuff Is a lot more fun then murder mcjones 2: electric boogaloo, and it's advice i've give out. But I also do just buy a csaber, wack everyone, and land at centcomm like every SANE person out there.
