Shuttle QOL changes - JohnnyJohn - 12-06-2024

This one's pretty simple. Whenever the escape shuttle is en route to the station, docked, or en route to centcom, then extremely disruptive events cannot happen. Events like spatial tears, radiation storms or blowouts, black holes or white holes are forced not to happen if the shuttle is active.

Not super related to what is being proposed, but it would be a QOL change for the shuttle. Maybe we could prevent borgs from bolting everyone in the shuttle the second it lands at central command? it's just not fun, and multiple times I've had art that I spent nearly two hours on lost because I couldn't get past the bolted doors and to a canvas.

Nah. The shuttle should be messy sometimes. If you think someone's doing a thing that's outright against the rules (RP or classic) ahelp it, or if they're just doing it every single time definitely ahelp it.

But I've had some fun being the metal or the meat in those cramped, tense shuttle ride home. It's a great final stage (though I must stress, please I personally ask don't make it your only stage after doing nothing for hours) for a climax fight or ling shifting through their victims before going shambler. Plus usually, barring particularly dire circumstances, what remains of security is right there.

honestly i've never had any issues regarding events in the escape shuttle, but i do propose that they're able to strike the shuttle (i.e. spatial tear cutting the shuttle in half would be sick)
