Space spiders should synthesize filbrith or something, I mean fabric's not really a highly sought after material + semi-rare in mining. Hell, maybe pure silk clothing could be a thing, or tripwires and shit

Maybe a sewing machine could be hidden around somewhere, with a starter spider-egg? Go buy more from QM or scrape them from eggsacs in maint or something, I'd imagine they'd be creepy but still adorable
