Wrestler Paths - JanusRose - 08-02-2024 Wrestler is fun, but I've imagined other martial arts styles using a similar format. Like a Kung fu master, sumo fighter, judo person, etc. Just using that format to add a few different fighting styles that might be fun for gimmicks. Eitherway this is just a concept but execution? I have no idea how to imagine it since I would like a more robust fighting system like in other code bases. But we need a decent execution for this. For example: "Karate can only be used in self defense." So if you use Karate to be an antag to attack someone, you will fail. But if someone punches you in a karate stance they will take damage insted! Could hold breath in no 02 conditions. Make their fists into flames, avoid stuns, but only if they'd meditated properly. RE: Wrestler Paths - meaow589 - 08-18-2024 I like this idea about fighter class base on your idea I think it should separate in 3-4 way depend on which style you want to play -Muay Thai : (Thai boxing) the skill will involve punch , kick which is mostly basic part of skill that original wrestler have but this class are have some minor skill like elbow/knee strike which need to hold target to use. The class are mostly balance and have costume like a boxer which is already have and good for them to make some boxer gimmic. -Taekwondo: we all know that this class will focus on kick should have many cool style of kick like butterfly kick / Jump kick /spinning kick this class are focus on attack and have some skill for movement ability. - kyoukushin : most defensive marterial art. The skill should involve in Stance guard to protect user from any damage for short second but can’t move Counter use for return back damage from brute damage to the attacker Medication skill for stop any harm condition like stunt /bleed/burn and slowly heal you. Should be more cool to have a ninja class that focus on mobility skill. RE: Wrestler Paths - JanusRose - 08-22-2024 This could be how space vikings finally become a thing. There are all sorts of cool warriors and fighting styles that would be great in space. Though maybe limited by blocks, grabs, yellow hand, and the others. So a supernatural element would keep things fresh. I just think of those Shaolin monks that walk on water, balance on spears and stuff.
