Masquerade outfit variety - Croissant_Man - 03-04-2024
I really like the vibe of the masquerade outfits we have, but I've noticed we only have 2 different outfits, and both are dresses. Since not everyone likes putting a dress on their characters I think it would be nice if we could perhaps add more options/colors to pick from, and suit equivalents to match the dresses offered in this small selection offered in the clothing booth.

Id be happy to sprite them, ive been looking for a spriting job. The masquerade outfits are some of my favourites, and they really bring a mysterious melodrama style if youre wearing them as antag. I was going to suggest a rearrange for the clothing booth as its kind of a mess, and more dresses, so this ties into that.

The clothing book already has a rework project in progress, and someone has been working on spriting the suit equivalents already -- they've been sending progress on it in the spriting channel on the discord, so maybe you could reach out and see if they have any ideas for other items to add to the category! Though the clothing booth rework that's already in progress has an associated feature freeze, so currently new PRs adding items to the booth aren't being accepted: https://github.com/goonstation/goonstation/issues/14301 until it gets finished up

Honestly I didn't know people were interested in this concept. I've actually done the spritework for the suit variants of the current dresses myself not too long after I made this post.
