If you were a ling and you *consumed somebody, then you deserved it.
If you were a ling and you absorbed someone with kuru and thus got kuru yourself, then that is a bug that should probably be fixed.

Yeah actually although it may be bug, it's quite charming that a ling gets poisoned from his own food.
Maybe if hipbee gave more clarity on how he actually got the disease...

changlings used to be immune to diseases, now they are not. its pretty much as simple as that
