Experimental generators Don't power Cables when turned on while on top of a cable.
They don't power APC's while on top of a terminal either. These things should happen.

This isn't a bug. Experimental generators just charge power cells if you put those small plasma tanks in them. I think there is a topic about how this should happen in ideas and suggestions (Which I personally support) if you want to throw in your two cents about it.

Right, reading up on this a little more, it looks like they used to power APC's, but that was changed so that now the generators only charge power cells for some reason.
