they're already one of the best utility purchases possible and when every single nukie buys sawflies the numerical advantage goes to the nukies it basically fucks up the balance of the mode completely

You say this but.. Nuke Ops have a like, 20% win rate for last month.
Maybe leave it in for now, see if a meta of abusing it occurs, and if not just leave it in.
