Secret chem idea I cooked up a while back - Roninnozlo - 07-15-2022 So a while back I got an idea for a secret chem but I didn't have a forums account but now I can actually post it in the suggestion thread instead of a discord channel woohoo It's based off of a real life concoction called Theriaca. It was a concoction the greeks made, and they believed it to be a panacea for poisons and venoms and such. It had like, a million ingredients and I tried to find as many that had actual names, then ways to translate them into the SS13 game with equivalent chems. The ingredients would be as follows:
Effects:
- 50% Chance of healing 1 BRUTE, 1 BURN, and 1 OXY per lifeloop - 5% chance of dealing random organ damage - 2% Chance of either healing or dealing brain damage
- 10% chance of dealing random organ damage - 5% chance of dealing brain damage
- 15% chance of dealing random organ damage - 7.5% chance of dealing brain damage
- 25% chance of dealing random organ damage - 3% chance of vomiting up an internal organ - 15% chance of dealing brain damage If it seems too strong or has weird and difficult requirements: It's supposed to be a secret chem, and some are based on real life stuff, I think. If it seems too complicated: it's supposed to emulate the fact it was believed to be a panacea but was obviously just some random shit mashed together and probably tastes bad and killed people . In case you think I'm lying: No. Here's a picture of an actual theriaca vase I pulled off of wikipedia. It's kinda supposed to act like calomel, in a way. It's color coded, but each preview it randomly decides to fuck up my formatting, by adding in random blank lines or messing with the colors of the text. So, what do you think? |
