Just got to thinking how cool it would be if the game had a leash you could put on your pet/bee and take it for a walk around the station without the critter randomly moving out of your pull. The leash should also have 3 options to change the tightness/looseness so you can give your critter friend more freedom to move or keep it close when evacuating and depending on how loose or tight you hold it should also impact your movement, like keeping it loose slows you down a bit since you have to get your pet to keep moving in the direction you're going while a tight leash has no movement penalty but might make your buzzing/furry friend unhappy over a prolonged period of time.

cool idea but just advice for now: u can wrangle bees by clicking them with harm intent, and have birds “step up!” (essentially grapple you) by using disarm special on them

You wrangle bees with grab intent.
Harm intent is not recommended.
