Molotovs - peepo the beeb - 05-03-2022 It is the great unjustice that fellow crew member's rebellious and mischiefous spirit isn't refreshed with an existence ( or should put it NONexictence) of classic Molotovs. Not pipebombs or beaker assembly, but litteraly assembly of glass bottle, cloth(handkerchiefs, towels) and whatever flammable stuff we can pour in the bottle. You're a sec officer, there is three dissidents throwing something flammable at you, what a big deal, happens every second, but THAT one guy, he throws a MOLOTOV at you, now that's some real shit. Adding more ways of doing a thing is good IMO, especially when different departments must go about it in different ways, like Botany making medicine by growing, instead of using a chem dispencer. And it could be a good alternative to a pipebomb that doesnt breach the station. Instead of an explosion, it torches the area and burns for a short time. RE: Molotovs - AmazingDragons - 05-03-2022 Putting a cloth in a bottle (filled with alcohol ofc) should turn it into a Molotov. Lighting it should make it extremely unstable and ready to explode (similar to how running with nitro would blow your ass up) with an explosion of fire leading to persisting burning, scorched tiles, and an end to sec's tyranny! Plus I can already imagine a rev round where people raid the bar for booze so they can start pelting the windows of sec with molotovs. They don't even need to be strong, fire in a small area and maybe some brute damage from getting decked by a glass bottle to top it all off. That would be the appeal. Hell a cocktail traitor kit would also be a fun item to consider. 1 tc gives you everything you need to make a crap ton of them quickly.
