Sterile masks have a permeability coefficient of 0.05, but this isn't shown or explained in the gui.

They do not, they have a function in my new Patho IV patch which has been up for 2 days, which also makes sweat puddles less annoying.

I've also elected to make sterile masks give the same viral resistance as a space helmet or biohood.
That may not be very realistic, but fashion comes first.

Oh, also, to explain, permeability coefficient is no longer used for pathology.

Good thing UrsulaMejor merged it earlier today. So yeah, the PR makes sterile mask givea lot of disease/viral resistance, which keeps you from contacting pathogens when walking through "weirdly colored sweat" pathogen puddles, and pretty much prevents getting pathogens from the "disease particles" pathogen clouds.
