Coroner job - Xaxysher - 11-19-2020

A coroner job that would perform autopsies/bag bodies etc.

RE: Coroner job - Boxta - 11-19-2020

Doctors are already supposed to do this, its just never done because smack person with health analizer is easier than doing a autopsy to figure how person died, The det rarley needs bullets cut out of a person for fornostics, so there would be no real purpose for a coroner

RE: Coroner job - Pestilancer - 11-19-2020

I could see this potentially being made as a gimmick job but other than that it would require some work to get put in as a proper job as there isn't much to do in this field

RE: Coroner job - KikiMofo - 11-19-2020

Might be a good job for RP Goon.

RE: Coroner job - Kamades - 11-25-2020

I could see it as a gimmick, but 99% of the time for RP Goon, this is done by the MDir or trusted subordinate. Unfortunately autopsies don't... exist really, especially with the health analyzer.

How nuanced is corpse degeneration anyway? Can you establish an elapsed time from death to autopsy easily?

RE: Coroner job - GORE - 11-25-2020

All people forget the Chaplain whose job is corpse removal,...

RE: Coroner job - Monochromatism - 11-29-2020

Would be fun as a temporary halloween job, maybe? Not great for general play, though, for reasons others have stated. Medbay is already kinda cramped and coroners would wind up being regular doctors for 99% of the round, methinks.

Given that rotting now has a random component, not even remotely.
