It doesn't make any sense and it's the only organ that this bug applies to.

are you sure you weren't trying to force-feed the patient the organ? that's a longstanding bug that i don't think has been resolved yet. I can't remember if you need to remove headgear to force feed someone because i rarely force feed people, but i suppose it would make sense.

I'm pretty sure I've had the same issue, and for me it was in the process of replacing all of a person's organs, so I am pretty certain their headgear was off.

Now I'm imagining someone saying "Wait please, I don't feel comfortable letting you put kidneys inside me with my helmet on."
