A visible timer on the record player would be swell - sartorius - 01-16-2020
It is frustrating to get a nonspecific message about how long the record has to cool down when you are running a DJ job. Either a visible countdown or being able to see the remaining time before you can play again would be nice. In addition, default (correct) titles for records would be nice when playing them so I don't have to guess at what record I'm playing.

This would be great, the cassette tape player would need should have a timer too.

I agree. There shouldn't be so much guesswork as to how long until you can use it.
