AI can interact with a door, even if the AI control cable is cut - Technature - 01-05-2020
Title.
Discovered it just now. I cut a wire specifically to prevent the AI from bolting me in a room and killing me. I had to go back to get medicine, and when I came back it was bolted shut.
I'm pretty sure the AI also opened the door before I could after cutting the wire.

Not saying it's what happened, but unless anything's changed AI can interact with doors that have their control wire cut, they just take time to do (typically tens of seconds per interaction).

There is the weirdness of the AI opening the door shortly after I cut the wire still.
